Hello to everyone. I am Moses Sati from Harare Zimbabwe. I am a Teacher /Trainer, Marketer/and Writer rolled into one. My Marketing career has taken a back burner owing to chronic mismanagement and terrible governance which earned us economic sanctions. Unemployment is about 90%, therefore to feed my family I went back to teaching Humanities when I should be managing multimillion dollar budgets implementing service marketing projects.

I need to retool, this I will do by studying for Digital Marketing qualifications. I plan to open a Digital Marketing and Advertising boutique service in Harare as a Vendasta agent.

Prior to Vendasta, I come from a background of 13 years in various retail management positions. My passion lies within team-building and leadership.

I'm John Wiley (most people call me Wiley) and just getting my feet wet in Vendasta. I have 20+ years of experience starting in advertising sales, then Publishing and marketing. I started an agency in Sept 2017 after being caught in a mass downsizing of a media company I was working for. (They were bought out by a private equity group).
2020 was the worst year ever and caught me off guard losing about 90% of my GRR. So, I have used the downtime to reimagine my business and what I love to do and other stuff not so much. I have been coaching 4 entrepreneurs to test my skills helping them get up and running and things are going great. I walk side-by-side with them in their journey to growth which makes a nice upsell opportunity to upsell them into their eventual marketing needs.
SO! I am happy to be here and look forward to leaning into the forum for advice with the intention of returning the favor.

Hi Sanjay... I'm Charles E Benson. Thanks to all in the Vendasta Platform. I fear that I am so far out there that I don't fit in, so, thanks for allowing me to have my say. I have held the moniker of Benson's Office Supply Service since 1987. There have been times where my offerings have pulled me out of the hole, but I won't say it's made me successful. I came from a home service agent for the Life Insurance industry. I have always wanted to help people. Specifically, my people. You see I am an African American. Born and raised on the Westside of Chicago. K-Town is what they called it. Some may call it rough, and poverty-stricken, yet it is what one wants to describe it. I relocated to Los Angeles around 1985 and began selling policies for Golden State Mutual Life Insurance Company. It was one of the largest Black-owned Life Insurance Companies in the country. I wanted to do my own thing. So I took a second job with Inglewood Stationers, an office supply store and I tried to establish dual relationships with the Church and Business communities of an African American flavor. Long story, short. I got to know much about the local business climate of the Black community.

Thankfully, in the current times that we face, there is an internet and the possible automation of business and global potential. I want to be part of it.

I am an accidental entrepreneur. 30 years ago I was an all career girl. Happily climbing the corporate ladder, then fate stepped in and you’re doing something else now! So I entered the business world not knowing a thing. I built a business not out of passion but out of circumstance. Three years ago, I was widowed after a very traumatic struggle against brain cancer. Through that I’ve found the thing I’m completely passionate about. And I have the freedom to spend hours in flow with it. Also I didn’t start from ground zero because I had decades of experience behind me. So life is pretty good. My business is really other people’s business. And I am committed to their success and I want to be their when they cross the finish line.
