Hello Everyone,
My name is Demetrius, I am a father of 13. I currently DoorDash full time but I want to transition to my marketing business and work it (eventually) part time while still having a full time income. I want to spend more time with my family obviously.
I love to help others, so for me this is a way to help small and medium businesses and still feed my family.
Hello everybody, I am glad to become a member of a group that features the advice of Dennis Yu. I can't wait to pick up on some of the knowledge this group and Dennis have to offer.
My name is Rick, and I have been in the social media space since2009. First as an administrator for 5 - 6 non-profits and a few small businesses. Since joining Vendasta, my lighthouse clients have been dentists. I have known that I wanted to be in the digital since 2004 when I picked up an MBA in eCommerce. Getting started in this client vertical has been tough so far. However, with Vendasta, I can see the light at the end of this funnel. I am certainly learning a lot.

Hello everyone! Joining in on the discussion here and hoping to take part in our growth together.
I'm a digital agency owner who's been on my own for almost a year now. Working on growing my agency, hiring a team, and building my lighthouse client.
The focus has been on local wellness clients like Physical Therapists, Pilates, and Excercise Specialists. It's great to be part of a like-minded group!
I live in Mooresville, NC ?

My creative skills in graphic design & web development have helped build my agency. Now it is time to scale!

Hi folks, Jim here. I'm the Founder & Director of both Pride Support Ltd (providing operational support to UK Pride organisers and the charities they support) and The Queer Collaborative Ltd (Collab:Q).
Firstly, I should say, I'm a talker. That is to say, I'm a talker when I DO talk.
I've always been intrigued with technology: from fascination at the wonders of possibility in Star Trek (I'm an 80s baby, so TNG - Picard over Kirk any day of the week!) to REGULARLY falling down the rabbit hole of integration. I LOVE to listen to what people have to say, HEARING their issues and hopefully providing value in any response I make. I took a bit of time over that point just then... Looking over my life it encompasses every stage (post-pre-teens).
I also really like to shout about things that captivate my attention (World of Warcraft, anyone?) and LOVE working where I am engaging with other people. We're all human and are each one of us deserving of dignity, respect, and the rights that are (should be) afforded to others. I'm lucky in that my work life and hobbies are pretty entwined. (LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS activism in my spare time, working for related charities & social enterprises during the day!).
Things I'm particularly interested in learning from this course? Ways to shorten my process. And hopefully, something that provides focus. Focus is something I've kinda been working on a for a while. I mean as a talker, a socialiser and an interactor it is FAAAAAR too easy to become side-tracked by many, MANY other things. (Especially if it involves a SaaS that integrates with something that is super cool and useful).
Welcome, Jim! I hope you find what you are looking for in the 'Start Your Digital Agency' program and as you expand your learning in the Academy. I love that you are dedicated to bringing people value - through active listening and being a talker. Two incredible qualities of top sales folks! I also appreciate your cover photo (we are all about that #protectlocal) too.
Happy learning.
Welcome, Janine! What an incredible and varied set of skills you have. We hope you find the resources you are searching for to help you scale your agency! If you have any questions as you get learning, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team.

Hey guys! My name is Kirk Jakesta. I have just started this year running my own white label agency. Definitely experienced some growing pains. I'm ready to get back on track with Vendasta and take over my local market place and more! I used to work as a heavy equipment operator before I deciding to jump into this full time. I really look forward to getting some great insights as well as getting the chance to share some wins with you all. I have a great feeling about Vendasta and I'm ready to kick ass.
Hey Sanjay, thanks for reaching out. My name is Keith Bell and the name of my company is Funnellosophy Digital Marketing. We help businesses set up sales funnels to improve their lead generation and to lower their customer acquisition costs. Vendasta is a perfect fit for what we are trying to accomplish by allowing me to offer value-added services I am not able to provide my customers.
My background has nothing to do with Digital Marketing, I am a retired police officer and majored in Forensic sciences.
My hobbies are varied movies, fishing, martial arts and my three dogs.
I have a beautiful loving supportive girlfriend.
What I want to learn is how to build packages to offer my clients.
Cheers Keith?
I worked in supply chain and distribution for about 10 years for a couple of the big box retailers here in the states and studied logistics, intermodal transportation, and marking as an undergraduate and also completed an MBA with a concentration in Information Systems a few years back.
I have always loved selling online since the early days of eBay and have been interested in e-commerce, web development, and new technologies for years. Back in 2018 I started my first online niche store that grew and expanded onto different platforms like Amazon. Over the past couple years I've continued to learn and started helping other companies get established selling on Amazon & building their own online stores. I also really love design work and connecting with small businesses
After covid hit, my side hustles became my online source of income and I really started researching digital marketing and began looking for opportunities to increase my offerings. When I found Vendasta, I really liked the focus on protecting local business and it all fit in very nicely with what I am working on so I partnered up about a month or so back. I am here to get some solid strategies for lead generation, ideas for content, and I am working on developing some healthcare specific tools to help the SMBs in healthcare with their online needs. Just finished a second website focusing on the offerings at Vendasta at bjblackburn.com (still deciding on a domain) and I am working on building content and more tools at sitelead.net finally. I am looking to learn more about offering digital marketing and cloud hosting outside of the US and I hope to pick up some insights for that too.
Look forward to growing with you all and hearing your stories and successes.
